Electronic Catch Disposal Records
AFMA has launched electronic Catch Disposal Records (eCDR) forms as part of the mandatory Fish Receiver System.
Using the system is simple and can be accessed via computer, mobile phones or tablets. Below are the step outlining how fish receivers can get set up to start submitting their CDRs electronically.
What do fish receivers need to do?
Step 1. Set-up a GoFish login
To submit an electronic Catch Disposal Record (eCDR) fish receivers will require a login account in GoFish.
To obtain a GoFish login ID please go to GoFish.
Select the Licencing and Quota Management button > Select New User in the top right hand corner of the banner
Fill in the form and submit to AFMA. Once processed by AFMA an email will then be sent to the Fish Receiver containing their login ID and a temporary password.
If you run across problems contact AFMA’s licensing team on licensing@afma.gov.au or call 02 6225 5542.
Step 2. Submitting an eCDR
The video below demonstrates how to correctly submit an eCDR.
Or, download the instructions from the PZJA website.
If you run across problems contact AFMA’s licensing team on licensing@afma.gov.au or call 02 6225 5542.
What licence holders and their agents need to do?
This does not change the process of landing your catch to a licensed fish receiver. Licence holders and their agents need to make sure that their license and agent arrangements are current.
Once the fish receiver submits an eCDR the Fishing Licence Holder for the landed catch will receive a notification of how much catch was landed, by SMS, or email.
